Housing

SCARHA accommodates a variety of housing programs including Project Based Voucher (formerly public housing) and HCV (Section 8). SCARHA serves Pike, Crenshaw, Lowndes, Macon and Bullock Counties. SCARHA is governed by a 5-member Board of Commissioners. The Board of Commissioners consists of a representative from each of the five counties of operation.

MANAGED HOUSING AUTHORITIES:
South Central Regional Housing Authority manages three housing authorities within its five-county service region:

• Fort Deposit Housing Authority (FDHA)
• Midland City Housing Authority (MCHA)
• Union Springs Housing Authority (USHA)
